SS 316L is an austenite stainless steel grade with high corrosion and oxidation resistant property. 316L Stainless Steel Sheets have 16% of chromium, 10% of nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum, and these contents make them resistant to harsh environments and stress-corrosion environments. 316L Sheets have a low level of carbon, and with high carbide precipitation, can therefore be used for simple welding processes with no post-weld processing involved.
