Having an austenitic composition, the chromium-nickel alloy of the SS 310 Round Bars provides excellent operation under high-temperature conditions. The composition of 2426 percent chromium and 1922 percent nickel provides increased scaling resistant and excellent oxidation resistance even in applications where suitable temperatures of up to 1150 o C are reached in an unfavorable environment during continuous processes.

The ASTM A276 Stainless Steel 310 Round Bars are as stipulated by the industry specifications, compatible with the universal standards of the specifications, thus, provide optimum performance and service life. The bars are non magnetic in their nature and remain very tough at cryogenic temperatures. They are good in hot industrial conditions due to their high resistance towards sulfidation and carburization.
