The ASTM B575 Hastelloy C22 Sheets is strongly resistant to crevice corrosion, pitting and stress corrosion cracking with even more crippling environments such as acidic chlorides and wet chlorine gas. Such performance is largely debatable to the relatively balanced chemical composition of the alloy which contains about 56 percent, twenty two percent, thirteen percent, and three percent nickel, chromium, molybdenum and tungsten respectively.
